Fall Celebrations
This week was a very busy week! We celebrated Red Ribbon Week and finished the week with "Fall Celebrations"! Everyone seemed to have a great time!

To end Red Ribbon Week, the PTO rented a couple of really cool inflatables. The kids had so much fun!

We thought our kids would be too small to climb the big slide, but we were wrong! They loved it and kept sliding over and over!
Then it was time to party! I think Salina enjoyed her cupcake!

Field Trip to Fisher's Orchard
Last week we took a field trip to Fisher's Orchard. Even though it rained on us a little at the beginning of our trip, we had a great time! We went on a wagon ride, listened to an educational program about different foods grown in an orchard, pet and fed different farm animals, ventured through a maze, and picked our own apples and a pumpkin to take home. We had a lot of Fall fun on our trip. Enjoy the pictures!

- My name is Julie Henderson. I graduated from Winthrop University in 2006 with a B.S. degree in special education with an emphasis in severe disabilities. In December 2009, I graduated with my Masters in Education. This is my eighth year of teaching. My first two years I taught a K-1 self-contained class for children with orthopedic impairments at Sara Collins Elementary in Greenville County. This is my sixth year at River Ridge Elementary School in Spartanburg School District 5.
