Henderson's Snowpals

We recently played a game called "Snowpal Fun". (activity found in "Mailbox Educational Magazine") Each child got an opportunity to dress up like a snowman. We would sing the song listed below and add the piece of clothing mentioned. At the end the "snowpal" had to pretend like they were melting to finish their turn. The kids loved acting out the song and dressing up like a snowman.
"Snowpal Fun Song"
(Sung to the tune of "London Bridge is Falling Down")
Roll the snow ball big and round,
big and round, big and round.
Roll the snow ball big and round.
Build a snowpal.
Put a scarf upon his neck,
on his neck, on his neck.
Put a scarf upon his neck.
Dress a snowpal.
Put a hat upon his head,
on his head, on his head.
Put a hat upon his head.
Dress a snowpal. In the sun, he'll slowly melt,
slowly melt, slowly melt.
In the sun, he'll slowly melt.
Goodbye, snowpal!
