We had lots of fun having a snowball fight. We would throw the snowballs while music was playing, but once the music stoped everyone had to "freeze like a snowman"! The kids really enjoyed being able to throw things at each other (especially at their teachers)!

It Snowed!
Well at least in our classroom it snowed! (Notice the cotton "snowballs" on the floor in the picture below.)![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzsacjeDJizYU9nna_lkdrYrPYJHxog7AH9B_9yryhDCfMsrLUMNeQjBIl4Cg8XNZAajm3dyNdUt3urcPOCnPFT5mSmzffeVevzHb7_rPbymQByRkn5PR2eASkkG3kDvqFZxGABR9RfIQ/s320/Winter+2010-+School+042.JPG)

Then Mrs. Henderson, Mrs. Glenn, and Miss Petty scattered "snowballs" all around the room while the children closed their eyes. When the room had been "snowed", the kids opened their eyes and were given a pail and shovel to scoop up as much snow as possible. The children really got into this activity and wanted to do it over and over again. We had a great "snow" day at school!![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3HKfuDzDPxtJm6QqpUua6u_BJgF8s88kaw16MaIBmVI_wwDgxw_sQ0ensJNrY5ZJWu_ZB5YxSurToa_C5gTXk0fNEz4qlFpK7R4CImbGCcDJugOv5puOdQdT2wwpVM6DmzZsEtSEGQeo/s320/Winter+2010-+School+079.JPG)
